Do you have a tool for creating an ActiveX/OCX from a .Net control?

Hello,

We are developing controls in .Net (C# mostly).  Some of our customers still use COM environments for their application development.  We would like to go to Visual Studio 2008.  We cannot because we loose ATL support and therefore cannot bring our C++ OCX code into 2008.  Do you have a tool (or know of one) that will allow us to create an ActiveX/OCX component from a .Net component?

Not quite sure what's your need.

but there is a tool called tlbexp.exe, which can convert managed assembly into type library. may meet your requirement.

I m familiar with tlbexp.  I am looking for a full OCX.  I found a toolkit from Microsoft call Interop FormsToolkit.  It takes a VB .Net Form and makes it work with VB6.  I was hoping for better COM/OCX support from .Net.

Hi Pat,

Can you describe the scenario with more details? I'm quite interested in the gap between tlbexp and the tool you need.

Thanks,
